Don't Miss Your Opportunity to Come Together in Circle with New York Peace Institute

The last three years have strained our notions of community and connectedness, making what we once took for granted—being together with others, in person and in conversation—less familiar and less comfortable. New Yorkers are experiencing new types of conflicts and setting new norms based on shifting perceptions and priorities. This has had an impact on interpersonal relationships (e.g. romantic and family relationships) and in the simplest of daily interactions (e.g. subway riding etiquette). Community and connectedness are what we need to forge new relationships, to grow, create and renew, and to move forward.

Join New York Peace Institute (NYPI) on May 18th for an event focused on bringing community together and addressing our new reality. This event will include an opportunity for attendees to break into NYPI-facilitated community-building circles focused on iterating the new norms for society that are constantly evolving in the wake of the pandemic. Our Restorative Justice (RJ) team and trained NYPI volunteers will lead the circles.

Whether you are brand new to the organization or you are a long-term volunteer or partner, this is a can't-miss opportunity to experience an in-person restorative process.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Hosted by Cardozo School of Law.
