Join New York Peace Institute for Spotlight on East Harlem, an online discussion with community leaders and partners, on May 14, 2020 at 4pm.

NYPI and partners from East Harlem will discuss the impact of COVID-19 on restorative justice work in the community. They will also shed light on the benefits of restorative justice programs in East Harlem.

This event will be moderated by New York Peace Institute Development & Outreach Officer, Anna Keye and will include the following speakers:

  • Marcus Johnson, Mayor's Action Plan (MAP) Engagement Coordinator, Wagner Houses
  • Kailani Capote, Restorative Justice Coordinator, New York Peace Institute
  • Roony Vizcaino, Principal at Urban Assembly School of Global Commerce
